In the digital age, the one thing that differentiates successful businesses from the unsuccessful ones is the way companies gather, manage and apply information. In this paper, first we discuss the detailed steps required to build robust data acquisition pipeline. Then, we move to the application of web data in the hotel industry — analytical component architecture for customer insights, pricing optimization and lead generation.
